Shrimp Tempura Batter

cups flour  
tablespoons baking powder  
teaspoon salt  
1/2 cups ice cold water  
/4 cup cornstarch  
teaspoon baking soda  
eggs, slightly beaten  
Shrimp, peeled, cleaned, patted dry  
Combine flour, cornstarch, baking powder and baking soda in a bowl. Add salt, egg and water; stir  
until flour is moistened. Batter should be slightly lumpy. Dip shrimp in batter. Deep fry.
