The 1918 Fanny Farmer Cookbook

Then add chocolate and vanilla. Bake forty minutes in a shallow cake pan.

Bake forty−five minutes in a moderate oven.

with marshmallows pulled apart with tips of fingers, but not quite separated into halves. The
