Chicken Salad with Grapes Walnuts

cups cubed (1/2 inch) cooked chicken (about 1 3/4 lb)  
cup walnuts, toasted and chopped  
celery rib, cut into 1/4−inch−thick slices (1 cup)  
tablespoons finely chopped shallot  
cups halved seedless red grapes  
/4 cup mayonnaise  
tablespoons tarragon vinegar  
tablespoons finely chopped fresh tarragon  
/2 teaspoon salt  
/2 teaspoon black pepper  
Toss together all ingredients in a large bowl until combined well.
