parchment and extinguish the candle with a snuffer or between finger
and thumb. Put the candle stub and the ashes in a box and keep it
somewhere safe.

don’t let any inhibitions prevent you from saying them.
On the night after the green candle was finally extinguished, light the
third candle as a gesture of thanks to your deities and thank them for
being with you during your magic making, not forgetting to finish with
the words, ‘And let it be done, that it harm no one.’
